POVAL, Company of production of the pumps and the valves, intervenes in two strategic fields for Algeria which are the hydrocarbons and more particularly WATER.

Rare resource, water became the major problem of the 21st century on a worldwide scale and Algeria is not in remainder. Besides the economic plan of revival devotes to the irrigation the share of the lion.

POVAL intervenes on the level of the distribution of water by equipping the systems with irrigation with products manufactured by the Company like the pumps and the components of drains (valves and accessories).

Although the diversity of the range of its products covers several sectors whose industry and building, agriculture and hydraulics are by far dominant (+de 80%) in its activity.

The approach “gone” for these sectors through the clean projection of the Company on the basis of statistical data and of extrapolations of the sales of the other economic operators confirms not only who the total request exists but that in more it is in growth.

In the products pumps, POVAL covers meadows of 45% of the national needs with customers dominated by the sector for agriculture.

The Company can still gain shares of market in this macro segment. The market demand out of hydraulic valves is covered to 60% by POVAL where the market trend shows a moderate rise.

The products intended for the roadway system and the drainage system for which there is a keen demand, POVAL although presents on this market, hopes to have more shares taking into account its competing advantages.

In the sector of hydrocarbons, fact even of the Specificity of the Product, the activity of POVAL remained modest and only 5% hardly its sales turnover in spite of the expressed enormous needs constitutes.

   In short, POVAL intends to gain more and more, of the shares of markets in order to ensure an annual growth rate located between 10 and 15%
